Epoxy Screed Installed For Dawsongroup Vans

Dawsongroup Vans contacted Northern Star Flooring to ask if it was possible to install a hard-wearing resin flooring system, that would also look great for a showroom.

We visited site, carried out a survey. We provided the customer with samples. The client selected an epoxy levelling screed, manufactured by Vuba Building Products Limited.

The floor was first prepared using diamond grinding with vacuum enclosed equipment. The equipment prevented dust permeating throughout the rest of the working area. The floor was then primed using an epoxy floor primer to seal and strengthen the subfloor.

Finally, we installed a 3mm epoxy resin self levelling screed. The epoxy screed was laid on a Friday afternoon to allow the weekend to cure. The floor was then used on Monday for the Fork Lifts to be displayed on.

The client was exceptionally happy with the result, and we continued to install more floors at their site in Southampton.
